Explaining Viper things to you
I'm running the wires across the top of the windshield for my V1 and Hella TPMS readout, and have stuffed them in to the gap between the headliner and the window frame. They don't go far enough in to be entirely hidden, and look like wires just stuffed in to the gap between the headli...

I know you have to pop out the mushroom head xmas tree fasteners at $8 a piece, and there's a couple screws in the back, but what is up along the front that keeps me from getting those wires in? Are there some tabs notched into the windshield frame?

It's not like every time you look up those wires will be 6 inches in front of your face to look at.

It is easy. I recall one end (probably front) has a lip all the way across that hold the liner, then the pull out attachments do the rear of the work. I took mine out to replace the sagging cargo net and it was not difficult.

Yup. The fasteners should come out without wrecking them.

In summary... PITA!!!

Now if you have almost the entire interior of your car removed anyway... piece of cake. Pulling all of that out just to make your wiring look neater? PITA!

The problem is you have to get the trim that is up in the corners behind your head off and out of the way. As that appears to be the first piece on the car, it is also the last piece off the car.

Soooooooo, everything starting at the radio trim ending at the rear glass latch trim had to come off.

But fully hiding the wires looks so much better.

BTW, the cloth covered xmas tree fasteners were reusable. At $8 a piece.

Sure would be nice if someone developed a BlueTooth adapter for those things, wouldn't it? Then, all you would really need is a fine-gauge wire power supply (easy to hide) and the rest could be supplied wirelessly. I'm not much for wires when it comes to data communication - they should only be used for power supply...
