I am replacing the front facia viper emblem and the two "Viper RT/10" emblems on the front fenders behind the front wheels. Can Anybody give me the correct measurements so I can place them correctly? By the way this is for a 96 RT/10.

Thanks

Adam,

Let me know what measurements you're looking for.

I just replaced my stock '93 emblems with chrome ones from Jon B. I used masking tape to mark the area above the old emblems. Cleaned area with rubbing alcohol. Then just peeled the adhesive back portion leaving the emblems "stuck" and correctly postioned in the clear top portion. Postioned just below masking tape, rubbed in thoroughly, and it turned out perfect.

According to Jon B. you can use a hair dryer with dental floss to easily remove the old emblems and if desired - restick somewhere else - like inside the trunk.

Adam,
Go down to your local automotive shop and buy some fine line painters tape.(this is the stuff used to tape off flames and custom paint jobs on cars. Take the fine line and tape it around the side emblems forming a rectangle box. Then take a hair-dryer and heat the emblems up then take a piece of waxed dental floss and saw it back an forth behind the emblem (each letter is separate and will most likely leave some glue behind.) Also you will need to heat each letter before using the dental floss behind it. When all of the letters are removed you will need to take some rubbing alcohol and wipe away the glue to leave a clean service. Then just simply apply your new emblems inside the rectangle square that is left by the fine line tape. Once the new emblems are in place remove the tape (removes very very easy). Hope this helps Chad
