Replacing mid speaker (above glovebox) RT/10

I can't figure out how to get the thing to work again, so I think I might just replace it. I was never really impressed with the sound in the first place.

Anyone replace it? If so, what did you replace it with?

With the open cockpitt design, you'll never get what you want out of it. That being said, I replaced all my speakers with Infinitys, They sound great up to 70 MPH :2tu: :2tu:

I have sony explods all around inside, they look great, they sound great but from what I hear that dont last great lol, but I have had mine for 9 months and BLAST them )have to got B&B exhaust) and no problems yet.

I can confirm that it does little good to put a sub in that little compartment... I put a 6.5 inch Rockford Fosgate woofer in there, replaced the amp in the trunk with a bigger Alpine, the head unit with a newer Alpine, and put Boston Accoustic pros in the doors. More than a grand later, it still sounds tinny when the engine's running and has no real bass.
Sounds pretty darn good when it's parked now, lol.
