Hello,
Hoping this catches the eyes or ears of individuals within Dodge.
I would like to request a Technical Service Bulletin applicable to 2003-2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10s. This TSB would authorize replacment of the OEM Dana "Hydra-Lok" differential with the newer GKN "Visco-Lok" unit as standard on 2008+ Vipers, for situations where the Hydra-Lok unit is malfunctioning or failed. It's my understanding the Visco-Lok unit fits right in the 2003-2006 pumpkin with no other modifications.
As a bit of background, I am campaigning my 2004 SRT-10 with the SCCA in a "Stock" class that mandates use of the stock differential, but has also exluded the 2008+ Viper. We are not allowed to swap parts around between years except as specifically authorized by the manufacturer via parts supercedence or TSBs.
I believe the Visco-Lok would be a big improvement over the Hydra-Lok when used in an autocross situation, making this a great favor to a Viper racer. For more information on my car and campaign efforts, please see:

Many thanks,
