Ring gear bolts

Can anyone tell me what size they are?A machine shop is telling me they could be either 3/8 or 7/16.3/8 sounds like it to me.:dunno:

it can actually be either. depends not only on the year, but what you happen to get in your diff. Sorry i can't be more precise than that! best way to check: open it up and remove one.

Yes, I can tell you. Especially if you plan a gear swap thru Partsrack!

Pending that, you would NOT likley have 3/8 as postulated......THE YEAR MATTERS.

IF you have an 01 ACR, and IF - IF - IF you have the OE diff, and IF IF IF you have OE gears, you would have OE 7/16.

And IF IF IF you order an upgrade thru PartsRack, we'll be sure you get THE RIGHT STUFF

If you have 3/8" bolts, you can have them retapped to 7/16". You also want them drilled/wired, the bolts backing out is a known problem.
