LOVE IT!
A must have mod.. cheap around $25
it makes shifting a joy compared to stock.
install.. let the tech do it.. PITA because you have to crawl up under the dash.
do it! you wont regret it!!!

best wishes

Good mod for the money. Install is easy but you have to be a bit of a contortionist. Took me about 15 minutes. Just follow the directions and be careful with the little spring clips that retain the linkage. They're easy to break or lose. No downsides unless you break or lose a spring clip or have a previous back problem.

Love it. Easy install except for the access. Be sure you don't remove the brake link instead of the clutch link. Everything looks different when you are under there upside down!

Good mod. Helps quite a bit. Although you can make one for about 10 cents, I bought mine.

Funny story...

A guy retires after years of working as lead engineer on an assembly line for a big company. Several months later, the line breaks. The in-house engineers can't fix the problem. They call in the machine factory reps and they can't fix it either. It's costing them thousands each hour the line is down. In frustration, they call the retired guy. He comes in, looks over the line... and after about 10 minutes of perusal, puts a screw into a hole in a mechanism buried deep in the machine. It starts right up and chugs along as new - to everyone's amazement.

The next week the owner of the company gets a bill from the guy for $10,000. He calls and says "how can you bill me for $10,000 for 10 minutes of work? I need a breakdown on how you justify this bill".

The response?

1 Screw - $0.10
Knowing where to put it - $9,999.90

That is a great story.

Although knowing that a replacement clutch shortening linkage goes where the clutch shortening linkage is, is pretty obvious. ;)

I love mine - all the pedals are the same height from the floor and I don't get leg cramps trying to pull my leg back so far like the stock clutch. I'm 6'5" tall and need all the leg room I can find in my Viper. It's a little heavier clutch action naturally from doing the same work using a shorter lever, but the force needed feels much more "right" for such a powerful car.

I think this was one of my first mods and, although subtle, it made a big difference for me. I was tired of catching my shoe on the clutch pedal. Sean's linkage did the trick. I had it installed for me after I tried to squeeze under the dash to install it.

Paolo, the range of motion is only shortened about 1/4" to 1/2". It basically just lines up the clutch pedal with the brake pedal. It's a simple little mod that makes a lot of difference in my opinion.

The stock set up works just fine.Don't fix it if it isn't broke.A little different and hard to get used to at first then shortly you won't notice it. Bruce

Even though the listing on Seans sight was 96 and newer - It won't
work on the 96 RT. I have one I'll give away for free.
