If you do a search on this subject it has been covered multiple times. Also search the alley site. It has the same question being posed.

I like the roe but you can probably get more peak HP from the paxton. My car feels very predictable. At 2000rpm there is 7.5lbs of boost and at 3000-6000rpm there is 8.5lbs. It just feels like a 700ci motor. The paxton will be more like a turbo. It will kick in sooner than a turbo but it won't happen until 3000-3500rpm. I think you will happy with both. I haven't seen anyone posting any 10 second runs with the paxton but they have more than enough HP to do it. It is just a matter of time.

As far as the NOS goes the Vec2 has an output that you can hook a relay to to trigger NOS or water or whatever.

Good luck

Utahviper,

I agree with your comments, except "It will kick in sooner than a turbo but it won't happen until 3000-3500rpm". Correct referring to the Paxton kicking in around 3K RPM. But wrong about turbos. New turbo technology allows boost to occur at very low RPMS. Every see a dyno graph of the Henn**sey TT? How about 90% peak torque in a Porsche TT occurs at around 2000-2500 RPM, if memory serves. The big Merc. V12 TT 90% peak torque around 1600 RPM, give or take... Turbos have come a long way... Problem is, you pay BIG bucks for a TT Viper system. That being said, twin screw power is still king at low RPM's. Full boost just off idle to redline - sweet!!! But turbo's are next best for low-end torque, unless one of the centrifugal fella's can prove me wrong (which has been done, once).
