I have many, many track miles with Crowers and I personally see no need for shaft rockers in a 6000 rpm, hydraulic-cammed car. The Crower tip style has been used successfully by OEM in the LT4. The T&D is a magnificent piece, but a waste on a mild motor, IMO. If budget is absolutely not an issue, go T&D.
If you don't know for sure how to install rockers, don't install Crowers, as a mistake can cause a dropped valve.
The best fix would be guide plates with simple stud-mount roller rockers.
