Thinkin of replacing oem rotors with slotted ones.. anyone done this I have an 09 vert. Is it an easy install?

pretty easy job...

while your there, swap out rubber brake lines for stainless stop-tech ones.

Do you have to remove the calipers or is there enough room inside of the calipers once the pads are removed to slide them onto the hubs?

Why dont vipers just come stock with drilled and slotted rotors? Didnt SRT think that would be a good idea?

Of course the ACR comes with Slotted rotors, and there is a price premium for that over the factory blanks so cost becomes an issue when you are talking about putting them on ALL Vipers.

Also, while there are several owners that buy cross-drilled rotors, some Viper buyers/owners bought it for looks, and just drive around and will never have a problem. Others however, will beat the crap out of it around a track, and drilled rotors have a history of cracking around the holes after intense braking. Doesn't seem like something Dodge would want to warranty all the time IMO.

Yea thats true i never thought about it that way. I guess i shoulda bought a acr instead. haha
