RSI exhaust system

Anyone out there remove both cats and replace with the RSI straight pipe, keeping stock mufflers and crossover pipe? I read earier one guy, Ron I think didn't like it, anyone else? Please let me know THANKS Andy

I did, but I replcaed the mufflers later. Big improvement with the heat issue, sounds better as well. I would definately do it again.

What did It sound like before the muffler change, and what % of heat lose did you get Thanks, Andy

If a person wanted to replace the primary cats with a high flow cat, I think the best way would be to remove all four cats and put the Random Tech high flow cats where the sec. cats were and the 02 sensors in front and back of the high flow. The spot where the primary cat is, seems hard to work with, and I see no reason why they cant go where the sec. cats used to be. This is the spot the primary and only cat is on the gen two car. Then you for sure can use the same Random Tech cat as the other cars use. I would remove all four cats on the car if it didn't polute so badly. I know the car will not pass any emmision test out there. I may still do this if I can find a justification for doing it. I wonder just how much polution the car does with all four cats off?
