ExecUtron's Viper, Vipereuos Optimus, www.ViperProject.com, has a cap that appears to be like that. It's a LeMans Style Gas Cap. Not sure where he got it from. It says FastRack on his website, but the link goes to ViperClub.org. It's a very nice gas cap, but I'm not sure it's the same type of cap as on the Viper you show here.
More info...
Under company information, on the ViperClub.org website, there is a company called FasRack (not FastRack) that sells a Lemans style Gas Cap ($265). Website: www.goldendawn.com/autox/, but when I went there, there was nothing there. Maybe they have gone out of business or changed names? They are located in Simi Valley, CA. There is an address and phone number listed, as well.

Looks good, but still don't know if I like the gas cap sticking up like that in the flat area of the RT/10. On the GTS it's one thing becasue it is on the side..........don't know.....

Andrew,

I installed my gas cap just over 3 years ago, about 3 weeks after I drove it home from the dealer. The reason I did so was the car just looked plain in that area. At first I loved it, and then I got use to it. Last month I put the factory gas cap back on too see what it looked like, and let me tell you it looked incomplete.

So I polished up the race cap and put it back on, its a shame Fasrack does not make them anymore. It really does complete the Viper look on an RT.

Well, maybe those who want one bad enough will make it worth his time, as in, they'll see that he makes a good profit. His gas cap is the best one that I've seen. If I wanted one bad enough, I'd pay him what ever he wanted. High quality products are hard to find, ya know?

Beautiful car (AND house). Love those wheels, but why would you do that to your gas cap area? I used to have an RT (now a GTS), and I still think that the best looking angle of a viper is from the rear of an RT with the top off which looks odd with a coffee can sticking up. A friend of mine did this and I always wondered why, and later he did also. Anyway, great looking car and to each his own.

Thanks for the links guys. Viperdrummer - exactly to each their own. I think it looks great especially with the other polished goodies on the car. I would love to see one in person. Exec and others thanks for the comments for and against.

Take that thing off....and throw it away. Buttttt ugly. No wonder the guy stopped making them (couldn't turn a profit) because nobody would buy them. You don't see them on yellow vipers do you? And, as we all know, yell-ohs believe they are "special" (they haven't researched "green").

Diversity makes the world go 'round. Ugly makes the world back up, and take a second look! *chuckle* It's all in how you see and/or how you want to be seen. Right?

P.S. What happens if a yellow Viper owner gets one of them caps? Heh-heh.
