RT/10 Glove box door won't open

Can anybody help with this?
I bought a 2001 Viper last month and it's in great shape but has a few minor issues.
The operating mechanism for the glove box door is missing leaving just the lock itself. When I turn the key it will go all the way around but the door won't unlatch.
Sounds like a simple job to open in but I'm about ready to take a drill to the lock in frustration.
If I can get it open, I'll try to replace the entire door.
Any advice?

You mean the key hole is there but the finger buttons on either side are gone? Interesting. That looks like one piece on my car. Or have you just not figured out to squeeze them buttons yet...? Or is the GTS like I have different?

Exactly! The buttons are missing, leaving just the key hole to the lock assembly.

If all else fails take out the Roto Zip and have at it.
