I should be getting my new seat covers soon and want to put some logos on the backs either embroidered or iron on. What I need is a good sample to show the lettering company what I want so they can reproduce it on their computer and make the stitching or iron on. Does anyone know where I can get a nice "RT/10" "Viper" or "Sneeky Pete" logo (or combination of any of the above) to give them as a model? Thanks.:)

there are a lot of ways to get these but there are laws about reproducing copywright logos. Did you get in touch with Chrysler corp. They might give you permission and a nice pdf logo.

There's an easier way to obtain a vector (high-quality) version of the logo. Go to Best Brands of the World - vector logos, brand, logo, logotype, photos and in the search field type in "Viper". It'll pop up.

I'm no lawyer, but I don't think personal use of the logo is an infringement on copyright law. If you were using it on stuff you were selling I think there would be a problem, but since it's for personal use and you own the vehicle I think you're in the clear.

I hope this helps.

Do you actually think DCX will chase down a guy who embroidered his seat covers? That's rediculous advice! I worked at DCX twice in my career so far. Have fun!

yea, forget about the copyright thing. I once did a green heineken sportbike. Had Heineken logos with the red star on it. My local sticker shop said their not really supposed to do it but in reality its Not a problem unless they are mass producing and selling in quantity for profit.

They are right George, as long as it for personnal use and you are not going to profit for said use, you are breaking no laws.

Thanks. I normally don't profit (money wise) from much... Buy high, sell low if you know what I mean! My use is similar to some of the other guys on this site who have painted the Viper emblems on their garage walls, etc. Thanks. :D:D

I got the logo and downloaded it. When I got my Wet Okole seat covers we took out the back stiching and an emroidery shop put on the logo. Here is a picture. I think they look pretty good except the place did not quite center one of them, but I'll put that one on the passenger side...

Looks nice. I am thinking about doing the same thing with my Wet Okole seats but with the Viper GTS logo. Did you have the embroidery done locally and what did you pay? Thanks.

I had it done locally and it was around $100. Most of the cost was "digitizing" the logo so the sewing machines could understand it. Now that they have it, I could probably have them do a shirt or something else I suppose as long as I do not do it for profit.
