RT/10 Trunk Lid...

No, it's the same. Hinged on the right (passenger) side of trunk lid it pulls down from left to right and sets in the notched depression in the trunk cowling just outside the weatherstripping.

Yup, what CitySnake said, that's were it is on my 2000. There is a piston bar you can buy to keep it up

(inside joke in my profession). I don't know where to buy it, maybe IMSOSLO can chime in, I saw it on his RT/10.

The trunk lids do not have the gas shocks to hold them up. There should be a prop bar just beside the weatherstripping on the passenger side. (though it way have changed since 94)

The prop bar on my '96 is on the underside of the trunk, release it from the catch, and prop it into the notch on the right side near the weatherstripping. Could be different for 2000, however.

The piston sounds good, but, "Prevnine11Ownr" said he has a spoiler, as do I, and it really makes the lid heavy. I question the piston ability to keep the lid up.
