Assuming cars with the exact same mileage/condition/year, what do you think is the % difference between them using the # 100 as a base for the less valuable car?

For example:

RT/10 100
GTS 110
ACR 130

I think all things being equal,
R/T 100
GTS 110
ACR 115

Using the 100/110/115 figures, that would would mean if a year X GTS was worth $50,000 the same year same condition ACR would be worth $52,500....the wheels are worth more than $2,500:D A 5% increase for an ACR over a GTS seems low

I was thinking it would be more along the lines of this.. say all 3 cars had around 5-7,000 miles and were 2002 model.

RT/10: $45,000-$48,000
GTS: $53,000-$56,000
ACR: $59,000-$62,000

That's like a median price range.. Viper prices fluctuate unbelievably....

Whether you consider these a good deal or not is your own opinion but I found a 2002 RT/10 with 2,761 miles for $64,990..

And also a 2000 RT/10 with 8,000 miles for $69,995. It all depends on who is selling and who is willing to buy. You really can't place a value or % difference on the same year and same mileage for RT/10-GTS-ACR...

I can't see a used ACR commanding $6,000 more than a GTS. I have seen 99 ACR's going for low 40's which is pretty much where a GTS would be. The ACR wheels are not for everyone and fog lights actually make the car look better. Maybe 10 years from now the value will be more as they are more rare but...:dunno:

It's pretty much still a buyer's market for Gen I/II Vipers. Good value.
Unlike Panteras. Prices haven't yet gone to ridiculous levels, and neither has any of it's performance become more diminished due to aging components.
I think Vipers are the contemporary versions of what Panteras used to be untill about the 80's. Relatively contemporary machinery that one can still push with confidence.

I missed on the Pantera due to familial obligations then, but just try to pry my ACR away from me now.

No surprise, the guys with ACR's think they rock. The guy's with GTS's think they are the best value. Exactly why each bought what they did.:D But everyone knows, Sapphire/ Silver ACR's are the best:lmao:

ACR's without comfort package are cars that were built the way that Dodge intended. Lets not forget that this was supposed to be a track ready car. 6 Points and A/C are almost an oxymoron. Many people who tracked them ripped all of that crap out if they had them to save the weight. The fact that they are hot will prove to be of no consequence when these cars are trailer queens or just collectors items. Nobody needs air conditioning to drive 300 miles a year only on nice fall and spring days. Yes, commuting to NYC in August would be a problem.

ACR's are cool.

From the point of owning a rt10, I dont understand why the gts is usally 10k more. Most model cars the price goes up when the top goes down,(or off in this case).I think the rt is under rated. I like the gts alot to,my freind just sold his 98 gts ,which is very nice for around 38 k.

Since the GTS and ACR were both priced incrementaly above the RT/10 MSRP then proportionally they should be depreciated for now. In hindsight, I got exactly what I wanted and spent less than those that wanted a GTS or ACR. The ACR looks killer but driving ******* is tough to give up if I have to pick one personally. I suspect this will go on for years to come. Tastes great/Less filling.
