Anyone have an opinion of one vs. the other? K&N certainly seems to be the most popular. The Roe site suggests S&B breathe better due to larger pleats. Also, I heard somewhere along the way that the S&B might fit a little better.

Getting ready for my first major, bank breaking, mod: tubes and filters.

I had also read about slightly better flow, fit, and build quality, which convinced me to get the S&B filters.
But the K&Ns also seem nice as well.

I use S&B also because Sean Roe explained the reason he recommends them. Sean took a K&N and a S&B filter and laid them side by side and the difference was pronounced, also K&N's have been prone to collapse in some hot setups.

I thought the quality of the S&B's were far better than K&N, plus S&B's are less expensive. And I have used K&N's for years but no longer.
