S/C, TT, Stroker, NOS..don\'t forget about your SAFETY!!!!

What a segway..LOL, but seriously, everyone should consider enhancing their safety as they enhance the performance of their Viper..it's not only smart, at most events it's required.

We have our NEW and Improved NHRA Approved Roll Bars in stock for immediate delivery!

These new Roll Bars are redesigned so that your factory seat belts can be used AS WELL AS aftermarket NHRA, IHRA, SCCA required 5 point harnesses. We even go so far as to include these approved and labled RJS-Teamtech cam lock style harnesses with our Roll Bars.

These new Roll Bars include the same great features as our previous bars in that they DO NOT in any way, inhibit seat travel or driver/passenger comfort, they include a REMOVABLE sidebar (required by NHRA/IHRA), do not require hacking up your interior, come assembled for easy bolt in installation, and have a very Original Equipment Appearance that will enhance not only your safety but the look and value of your Viper.

The Bars can ship either in bare metal or PowderCoated in BLACK or RED.

Prices are as follows:

Roll Bar with (2) sets of RJS/Teamtech 5 point Harness sets: $ 1,349.00

Roll Bar without harnesses: $ 1,099.00

Powdercoat: $ 125.00

Prices do not include shipping..(shipping averages $ 55.00, ADD $ 25.00 w/belts)

Keep in mind that should your Viper e.t quicker than 11.99 you will be required to have an approved Roll Bar AND harness set in order to run at most NHRA dragstrips..and more and more Vipers are eclipsing the 11 second zone each and every week.

For more info, please check our website at Http://btrviper.com and/or feel free to contact us should you have more questions concerning our Roll Bars or any of our products for your Viper.

Thanks,

Tom

Hey Tom.

I see on your website it says "This Roll Bar is designed to BOLT-IN to your Viper GTS with no modifications."

Does this also apply to RT10s?

If so how difficult is installation, does it require drilling and/or cutting the carpet. If so what do you charge to install the roll bar and 5 point harness?

Can you still use the stock seat belts with the rollbar as I have heard the 5 and 6 point belts are illegal on the street?

Last question, do you offer a 6 point harness set?

Thanks

Tom,
What determines 'NHRA approved', and what is improved from your previous product? How does one convince the track offical that the roll bar is legal?
Thanks

TorQ,

The NHRA prints a publication..a rule book, every year to its members. In this book is a guide of requirements that they have set forth for every racing class that they offer. Also in this book is guidelines for specific products that they allow, one of them being a Roll Bar. They state how the bar must be made, what materials must be used, tubing diameter, wall thickness, contact points on the vehicle chassis, bolting procedures, side bar dimensions, and so forth.

We have been involved with the NHRA for over 20 years and know what they are looking for with regards to regulations. This bar will pass technical inspection at any NHRA/IHRA facility. So, to answer your question, you won't have to ever do any convincing, your tech inspector will know that the bar is approved when he sees it.

As for differences from our previous bar, they are almost identical, with the only real change being that we have slightly changed the upright mounts to accomodate the factory seat belt retractors for retaining your factory seat belts.

Michael,

Please see my response in the "products" thread.

Thanks again,

Tom

Hmmm....how about Flywheel/Clutch Shield and Main and Drive Shaft Loops arn't also that required by NHRA? We follows the NHRA rules in Sweden and I had to fabricate them to clear inspections.
