With the 2013 Viper taking the shape of the original GTS, there has never been a better time to own a Gen II. That's why it pains me to have to sell my Bumble Bee. Besides the performance there is nothing on the road that can complete with the look of this car. My car is in the classifieds. I bought it stock in 2005. What do you guys think of it. What about my price. Thanks

Thanks for the link. I'm here at least a couple of time a week. Just not posted much. But learned a tremendous amount from this forum.

Since you asked what we think about your price, you're 10k too high IMO. Clean vipers are easy to find, so there's not much benefit to having a sub 5k mile car like yours over a clean 15k mile car that everyone on here has.

Wow! You guys think its 10k overpriced? That means if it were stock it would 20k overpriced? 3,800 mile Bumble Bee for $40k. I'm sure everyone would jump all over that. Including me. LOL! I have every original part to put it back to stock. I just assumed that most Viper owners mod there cars. I wish it had these mods when I bought it stock. Maybe I should consider putting it back to stock?

360 Forged wheels, M&M headers and RT full exhaust and MGW pieces. Recent fluids, PS bracket, water pump, engine/ tranny mounts with 13k miles that I would let fly for $42k. I hope you get $60...

Its so sad that we are part of th VCA and can unionize together and keep this exclusive car called the Viper just that, Exclusive.

Since there are what?...say.. 8000 Gen 2 owners on here, why don't they all unionize and sell these icons and keep them exclusive for what JM is selling his without having guys like Next Phase driving these cars to mustang and camaro prices. It realy is sad.
42K for your car NEXT and then 40 from another member to knowck your down and then 38 and so on and so on....lol...why not just sell these darn Cars for 25K and get a Maxima...lol...instead of following the higher priced cars and driving the price higher...we try and lower them to underpin the next guy. We are the VCA guys and we control the market. We decide the price. Not the buyer. We are the market. These are exclusive cars people !!...Make the next guy pay for it. Or...they can settle for a chevy or ford. You get the drift. I am probably blowing in the wind, but, I just had to voice the obvious and inevitable.

Too bad. with the new viper being built around the Gen 2 you would have thought the prices of these cars would have climbed. Thank God for Barrett Jackson and the true car enthusiasts that still pay top dollar for these cars at the show. For your information, tastefully done "custom modded "cars are fetching more than their stock counterparts. Welcome to the new age people.

Good for you JM6t , keep the price of your beauty where it is or hold on to her. Don't give it away as do many here. Anyone looking for a stock clean 96 GTS, I am asking 70K for it. Take it or leave it. Or, go get a 2011 corvette or mustang and blend in with the crowd and...sell it for 20K in a few years whereas this car will still be worth the money maybe more.

^ Take a look at what these cars are selling for over the last number of years. There are TT GTS's selling for $50-$60K range.

I think the OP is very optimistic if he thinks he is getting anywhere near $60k - I'm sure the entire board will agree on that (except for you and a couple of others in denial). It would take the right buyer who has cash in hand. I'm not actively selling my car, but I would let it go to get into a Gen IV ACR or Gen V.

Talk to Viper Jon about prices of Gen II's... he just sold his low mile B/W car.
