Went to Drift Formula in Monroe, WA a few weeks back... This is what I saw...

Apparently he went into the wall during practice on Friday before the actual competition.

I got to talk with him and he was a pretty cool guy. He said he'd much rather drive the big nasty Viper over the Challenger.

EDIT: It wasn't Sam Hubinette driving the Viper, it was Andrew Comrie Picard!

I guess these cars are an expendable commodity for him.....like a no-fault exercise.......

Sam's a good guy!

His "360" school is an excellent driving school even for road racing - you really learn how to push your car right up to, and a bit beyond its handling threshold, while all the time remaining in control.

Check out the vid below (the student in the video is none other than Ray Hofman of the recent 1-mile world record fame in his Ford GT!).
