That is the FIRST GTS with stripes that I have ever seen that made me fall in LOVE! Nice combo guys! Those wheels seem to make the stripes pop.

I've gotta have that car...

If I'm lucky enough to be chosen for the Comp Coupe - that will be my color combo. I miss my 96 GTS. I think the silver stripe looks much better with the BBS wheels and that blue! I had the GT2/BBS wheels on my 96 - looked great.

I bet once people see what they missed out on (a chance to win this beauty) they will be kicking themselves for not buying a raffle ticket. That car looks great. This is the limited production run that Dodge should have done on the last 300 GTS's.

We have to change the rules about raffle tickets and VCA officers. This is the second raffle I haven't been able to participate in. I know why....because I would have won it for sure. Instead, another luckey VCA member has a chance. The winner can thank me later.

On a 1 of 1 do you keep it bone stock?

or do you add the GT2 front splitter, canards, and wing?
I think that is all the car needs.

still surprise about the deleted foglights. I know that i have seen ACR's with foglights!

did they keep the radio and AC or delete them?

thanks

I race my 96' GTS in the VRL with the original colors blue with white stripes. When I get my Comp. Coupe, I will have it painted as the raffle car with a few special touchs before the 2003 season begins for VRL. Nice shot Tony.

Thank you so much for posting pictures of MY new car. I would have posted some after the raffle drawing, when I brought it home. It looks beautiful!!! BurnR8 posted something about making a triple garage lift, may be just what's needed

JMcGuire,

I figure a 1 of 1 must be worth as much
as 1 of 100 1998 GT2 cars.
And I have seen them be sold in the classifieds with asking prices of $100-$119k

so that is why ask with this car would the winner keep it stock or mod it and risk ruining the resale?

Laura, it is really a short trip to Ohio for you to come visit
my car. Im sure we can find some place for you to stay and
drool over her. But I do promise to only have the oil changed
by your crew, while I search the "Alley"

Ulysses, sorry, a lot longer drive for you to come visit this
beauty. MINE, ALL MINE!!!!!

quote:
I know there was a raffle last year, too. How many raffle cars have there been?

There have been 3 so far. I really liked the first one. GTS with a wing and a two tone steel grey silver paint job. That one was sweet. But this one looks to be sweeter.

Good luck to all, the day is drawing near.

It's definitely worth more than a standard ACR, and I would probably trade my GT2 for this third raffle Viper.

Haven't heard much about the first raffle Viper since the drawing of the winner's name, but I don't think it has ever been sold. It was absolutely spectacular (as I recall it was actually three-toned: silver, steel gray, and black with VOI 6 graphics).

By the way, I've noticed that none of the three raffle Vipers have window stickers in the windshields, as all other Vipers have. Does anyone know for sure if a window sticker (describing the special features of these unique cars) is included or is there some other type of certifying document?

Wow, what a vehicle, and universal praise from the board, wish the SRT threads would have the same praise, DCX, it's still not too late......

So what has become of the previous raffle cars? Anyone driving them, sell them, moth-ball them?
Just wondering....
