Well, for some very bizarre and complex reasons, I've decided to say goodbye to my Gen 2 Viper. It'll be appearing in the classifieds shortly for any Gen 2 shoppers who may be interested.

I'll keep you in suspense as to my next landing place and what hopefully turns out to be a new found love.

Whoa, whoa, whoa... I've been married for 14 years now and I'm still madly in love with my wife.

And you NC folks, wouldn't a convertable be really nice down there?

But alas, nothing ever is a done deal until it's, well a done deal. So be patient...

"goodbye to Gen 2", "wouldn't a convertable be nice down there",... my instinct tells me someone is looking at buying a SRT. Cool, but look at the face of that GTS, wouldn't you miss him ?

GRRRRR, Lou I wish you well. You own the coolest color combo SECOND to the BLUE and WHITE crowd. However, your miles ahead of the Yellow Viper crowd.

(That oughta stir up the Bumblebee's Nest for awhile)

I'm a Stinker, aint I... :p

I always thought the gray was the best color... until I saw the sapphire with silver stripes... cara mia! My wife's always been partial to yellow though.

The 2002 charcoal with the silver stripes is the color to have. The sapphire silver combo is next in my opinion.

Alan,

I thought the 2002 "gray" was nice until I saw one at the Dodge place on Ridge in Webster. It looked a little flat and uninteresting compared to the 2000 "gray". Of course the poor snake had been sitting outside in the rain for God knows how long. I'd have to see 'em next to each other to say. Actually, I bet you're right about the charcoal and silver. That subtle contrast between the stripes and body - Mmm! Somebody in Irond. has a sapphire and silver. That's were I've seen that combo.

I saw that one in webster also. Was not impressed with its appearance from being outside in the elements.

Louis, no opinion on price but your sales site is one of the best I have seen. Excellent photos with quite a bit of detail. Very well done!

Jay...

It is commonly referred to as a "hive" and not a "nest".
Metaphors and adjectives will be on the quiz tomorrow.

Yep.... he's stirred up a real Hornets Hive there.......

Never heard it said that way....

"Bee" hive, "hornets" nest, might be a regional thingy, ya think? {:)

VJoe...

You are right :) ...down here you definitely know the difference when you stick your hand into a bee hive and when you stick your hand into a hornets nest.
VERY different critters  ...with very different reactions.

Now...back to the subject....it takes a lot to "stir up" the Viper Bumblebee hive...but...you will know when it is done. We can be the peskiest(sp) of groups

Well, I have an RT/10, so you decide :)

We'll let you slide if you're buying an SRT-10 ;)

Good luck with your sale and future purchase(s). Thanks again for the ride offer for my friend. I found out she went to Eastman School of Music.

I'd have to say your color is in my top 4 favorite Viper colors (along with Emerald, Sapphire and Silver, and Black and Silver). I will always remember seeing Jason Heffner's old GTS, gray and silver. I thought that was one of the coolest color combos, still do obviously. When I first read your post it dioes sound like you are going for the SRT.
