Does anyone remember whether or not the Viper is still required to run air restrictors? How about tire limitations? I remember during the last T1 race on SV, the announcers made a point about Vipers having to run smaller tires... did I remember that correctly?

Contact SCCA, get a current GCR. This will help you in your quest for knowledge, or you could just call bobby archer in texas.

Current T1 rules require 55mm inlet restrictors. Smaller tire sizes are not required in T1 - that was for SPEED GT last year. In fact, I believe you can run wider (than stock) fronts.

You can run 20MM (in 10MM increments) wider or narrower tires on all four corners. This is a bit of a trick since 195 Hoosiers are not readily available.

You may not change the factory rim width (which is 10" front and 13" rear on Vipers).
