Schaumburg, IL. Viper Owners NEED HELP PLEASE

I'm sure there are several members in the area that would help. First, if you haven't done so already, get the following info:

1. Carfax report.
2. Background on current owner (VCA member or not?)
3. Work/repair history on the car and dealership names if the work was done by a Dodge dealer.
4. You can call Roanoke or another Viper-friendly Dodge dealer and have them run the VIN to get a list of most dealer work.

I just moved to the area a couple months ago, so I'm not as hooked up here as others. That being said, I would be more than happy to help if I can.

Who are you buying from??? private/dealer? I could stop buy and take a few pics. dont know if id be any help as far as mechanical. Just would hate to tell you it runs fine and then blows up on you.

Perhaps you could have the existing owner take the car to a
local viper tech that Ken or Chuck knows and have the tech
look over it, and do a phone report with you. (offering the tech the C note might be a good motivater for him) I wouldn't think the existing owner would object
to something like that for a purchase of this caliber.

Ken or Chuck, any tech recommendations on a tech? I'm in
St. Louis, if there's anything I can do, don't hesitate to
ask.

AGHHHHH NO... not there... they are such A holes...

suppose they would be ok to check it out but ANYTHING else run away!

Kohller (spl?) dodge handles more vipers.... Roanoke is the best in the area but 1.5hr away..
