Scratched Windshield Repair?

Hey Guys,

My 96 GTS has a 1" scratch on the inside corner of the drivers side window from the original owners BIG OLE diamond while he was attempting to wipe the dash off.
Also , I have a very small chip (not crack), on the exterior from a stone kick off.
I was told that these can be polished out????

if you can feel the scratch, you wont be able to get it out.

I have a similar issue on my 1998 Police interceptor and asked if it could be buffed. I was told if it is tempered glass it may break when attempting to buff it out.

I doubt the scratch can be removed. Just for reference though, I just replaced my windshield due to a crack, $340. OEM with the Chrysler logo...

Try a swipe of clear epoxy to fill / hide it.
