Struggled with relocating the Gateway module this Sunday.

Finally found a way to keep it under the seat without feeling it with my Butt while sitting in the seat.

This was a huge P I T A.

Dan, Please do tell. I was told that it could not be done under the seat if you wanted the 2 inch kit. I don't know who the heck to believe there are so many opinions. Would like to hear it from someone who has actually done it theirself. So do tell. Thanks

Does the 1" kit clear the Gateway module? If so, then all we have to worry about w/ the 1" kit is the remounting of the seat position sensor?

Bruce, I've only had it in for a short time. When I move it all the back it seems like a slight rub? Could be touching the module or the cables?

I got the paint work done shipped it to DC getting the headers done, I'll have it back early next week, maybe at C&C on Saturday the 3rd if you want to try it out. If your near DC feel free to stop by and check the seat out, it will be there till Tuesday or Wenesday afterrnon next week. Mike

Hey Mike,
DC is only a few miles away from my office so I think I'll check your car out early next week. Would love to listen to your headers also when it is all done. BTW, DC just put in 3.54 gears for me and it really wakes up the car, plus another side benefit is the skip shift stopped working after the gear swap for whatever reason.

Bruce,

Great, check out the seat with the 1". You'll see I put the red mamba back in, ()haven't seen the new stripes yet) Try for Monday or tuesday, I'll either get a ride to LA Tuesday afternoon or maybe wednesday at noon. Had 3:55's in my 06 and they were great. I'm thinking of going to the 3:33's in the '08, I think they'll work better for me at willow springs, as I have to shift to 5th going into #8. Gears are a great add. 3:07's aren't for me.
