Paul, some folks from Jax are staying at my house. There's also Terry McCalister's (97 b/w RT/10) house. Sebring is less than two hours from Tampa. You're welcome to stay here.

This will be my first track day in a viper. I've done 4 or 5 in a 530i BMW. Sebring and Moroso, I'd like to get some pointed from other Viper drivers on handling the beast.

Thanks for the invite. I need to see if I'll be traveling. Just back late last night from DC and Tampa (SOCOM) as a matter of fact...as soon as I get an idea of my schedule I'll let you know. I normally stay at the Wyndham Westshore...is that close at all?

Great. My application to SAFE is in the mail. I'll know more on my schedule next week but I'll send in my money anyway. Their refund policy is good..8 days I think I read. Any prep tips on the car appreciated. I'll have to drive it there...no trailer.

It kinda depends on how hard and how long you push it.
Fresh pads and brake fluid is always a good idea. All fluids if it's been a while. We'll have plenty of support available if you need it. We're all looking forward to getting together.

Picked up my Viper today... with the fresh Arrow engine rebuild.... I've sent in my Sebring entry fee..... I'll be there!!!

Prep Tip: I've been told to check the cap on your power steering after each run. Problems with them coming lose on track and start small fires in engine comportment. :-( Bad for plastic cars. I'm locking mine down.

Leaving Tampa at 6am. If everyone wants to cruise together we can meet up somewhere along County Line Road around 6:30. I-4 to old exit 15 go south towards sr60.
