I'm thinking about selling my tracker. I need you guys to convince me to do it, my desperate need for money isn't enough for me to make up my own mind.

I wouldn't be able to replace it with an ACR until late next year sometime.

Your timing could not be worse. Hold on for awhile until the economy shores up a bit. Used Vipers and regular new Vipers are moving very slowly. If it is available, why don't you do a lease/option on an ACR now? Then, sell the old Viper when the market comes back a bit. It is not clear whether there will be any new ACRs for sale late next year - unless you are referring to a used one.

The 100k garage queen is his RT/10. Last I was in Tampa, I think the GTS was in the 30k'ish range.

With that said, Chuck don't sell it. Bad timing and my friend who came to Tampa with me still refers to you as "#34" when we talk about 2 Viper Chuck and Tampa :D Going to Tampa and not seeing #34....that'll take me several more trips than usual to Odyssey and Mons to overcome the grief :D

we cant let you do it.

seeing you without #34 would be like seeing Roy without Trigger, Abbott without Costello, Ernie without Bert, Batman without Robin, Gumby without Pokey, Starsky without Hutch, Bonnie without Clyde, Cheech without Chong, or Lenny without Squiggy!

LOL You guys aren't helping one bit.

97 GTS will less than 40K. Still runs great. No motor or drivetrain mods. Easily streetable.

Some folks will say "it's just a car." I guess I can't blame them since I feel the same about other people's children. However, nobody is building GenII Vipers anymore but kids are being built by the millions. I mean, even Corvettes can't keep up with the production numbers of childbirths.

So please, if I do sell #34 be gentle. It hurts. There are only a few thousand classic Vipers but there are gazillions of little brats running around.

If some of these high rollers had bought Chuck a new ACR like I suggested several months ago, we wouldn't all be in this predicament. I say "we" because if Chuck sells his GTS, the entire Viper community will come crashing down in shambles. He has been a Viper hero of unconcionable proportions and there should have been a raffle to get him a new Viper ACR. I don't know how some of you multi-millionaires can sleep well after reading this saddening post.

Chuck has been the most heroic real world Viper advocate. I have thoroughly enjoyed his retorts to neo-vette infections and near manifestations. His insights have always carried merit due to the fact that he is an experienced track rat. If he sells his Viper, it will leave a painful void in the Viper legacy. If we can have raffles to buy a new Viper, why not have one to buy Chuck a new ACR? This would be one raffle I would buy into.

You're too kind Alex. I don't know if I can live up to all that!

But if I get an ACR I'm gonna track the living snot outta that car.

Dont do it!!! Your car has to be installed into the Viper Hall of Fame. The car has a storied history, only enhanced by your ownership.

Hey Chuck, you could rent it to me until you need it back. I need a new studio prop for all the cute girls that come in and have their pictures taken. Bet I could catch up to Chad with the amount of girls posed with a Viper in no time. Plus all the girls that come to me are 17 and 18, not any of those old 21yr old ******* type girls.
