Shady dealerships

Any lawyers out there. Brought a 2004 about a month ago at Bul Auto in Albany NY. I am 4 hours away in Pa. so he knows I am not coming back. The day after I got it home there was a clanking under the hood. Long story short. It had a bent crankshaft pulley which I didn't notice at the dealership as he had it running and told me not to shut it off after I drove it. It cost me a little over $550 to fix. It has a 90 day warranty. He won't return my calls, text, or emails. I am not going to pursue it for $500, but am still pissed that he is ignoreing me. If I could get him for more than my $500 I'd go after him. By the way I love the car. It doesn't ride as well as the 350 Z I had, but it's a lot more fun. The speed is intense. Thanks. Mike.

Mike that *****, unfortunately there are some real bad Dealers out there, 550 is not to bad when it comes to repairing a car, especially a Viper, the best thing you can do is tell as many people that you can, The worst Dealer I ever encountered was John Johnson Dodge back East, Holly cow they ****.

Small claims court. You don’t even have to appear if you don’t want to. Cost you 50 bucks. He might respond then.

I don't know what prompted them , but after 4 weeks the owner contacted me and said all of my messages went to a closed file. He says it was a total misunderstanding and my check is in the mail. Someone got to him. Go figure ??????? I don't know if I owe Bul Auto sales an apology or not. Thanks for your concern.

Welcome to the shady dealer club, go to BBB web page and state your case against the dealer. In my case the local dealer told me they flushed the system and brakes few months later took the car to Los Angeles Viper specialist and after he put car on a rack the first think he told me was "when are you going to flush the cooling system and brakes". I told him I just did at the dealership few months ago and he said "not the proper way, as they did not pulled the plugs from the block to drains the coolant". I was mad as heck but that was my first and last trip to a dealership in my life. The reputation just follows them like the bad rash. They had my car for two weeks and when they returned it was dirty as hell and the service manager parked it around d corner gave d keys and I had to walk about 15 yards around the corner to see the dirty car.
