Someone rolled a black RT-10 off a trailer at Carlisle this week and it had "Shelby" badging on it, stating it was 1 of 25 or something like that, and the only black one... anyone know anything about "Shelby" vipers?

I think that its a neat car that will be a collectors car in the future. Kinda like a yenko of the Viper world, maybe.

I agree with Chad...not as cool as a regular...Its not like it has much more horsepower and is beefed up...if that was the case then it would defintely be a big deal...like the COPO and YENKO Camaros 98ViperGTS mentions...those cars had more power.....

I think it's kind of weird... Shelby is a big part of the Viper (Gen 1&2) so why the extra "Shelby" thing...
Anyway, I do prefer the Original.

Its not that bad, kinda like the ugly duckling. It just wants to be loved. I like the front bumper and that it has the shelby badges. Its just like the FE's or Copperhead Vipers. They did not get anymore HP.

pathetic, I'd say that car is worth less than a run-of-the-mill RT/10

I'd be willing to bet, since they are acknowledged Sehlby vehicles that in 10-
15 years they will be worth considerably more than a "run-of-the-mill" RT.

you're right bonkers, I guess they aren't "worth" anything special to me, actually less because the stuff they did looks terrible, but something is truly "worth" what someone will pay, and we all know barret jackson has proved there's a ton of rich fools...

Chad:"I still think normal Vipers look much better."

You mean ketchup and mustard, or normal Vipers! lol :D

On a serious note, looks OK, could do without those wheels, though.
Sinature on the dash is OK, but all the other info below it seems a bit much.

I saw one at AC last year that was black, I wonder if it is the same car. He wanted way to much for it IMHO and it was very raggy.
