Sorry to be so mechanically challanged, but i love VIPERS. (93 RT/10)
Questions: Bought a MGW shift knob, can't get the old one off, got a wrench on the shaft, but can't turn the old knob off and don't want to ruin it.
2. One of my fog (driving lights) is burned out, can't figure out how to get it out.
Thanks,
Old body, young mind

There should be a lock nut further down below the end of the factory shaft/knob. Hold the factory shaft/knob by the flats and break the locknut loose by turning the locknut clockwise.

Then remove the factory knob and locknut and install your MGW.

As for your fog light replacement, there should be a large rubber plug behind the fog light in front of the tire. Pull the rubber plug and you will see the backside of the light assembly. Remove the rubber cap and that will expose the wiring and bulb. The bulb is held in by a metal spring clip.

Getting the old knob off is a bi**tch; DC wanted them to stay on. Follow the directions you got from MGW, make sure you are turning the correct way........and give it all you got. You won't be disappointed with the shifter...it felt natural almost immediately. Good Luck!

Turn your wheels toward the opposite lamp to give you the most room to access the opening at the front of each wheel well. You might also say goodbye to your knuckles....damm small hole grrrrrrrr!
