Shift Light In Dash Wiring Help

I need help identifing the wire that leads into the dash cluster and illuminates the shift light. Looking in the service manual for a 2003, Page 8W-80-39, at the Instrument Cluster C1 and C2 diagrams I can only find one candidate. Plug C1, Pin 4, 'FLASH PROGRAM ENABLE". Can someone verify that this illuminates the shift light? I want to triger a second larger shift light and what better place to do it from.

C1 pin 4 is used as a direct communication line from the body control module to the keyless entry module (key fob)

The powers and grounds for the shift light are internal to the cluster.

Thanks. I figured out last night that my plan won't work. Time to buy a small shift light.
