Shift Light Problem

I have an Armtech shift light. It came with the car, so I don't have the manuals. I recently put in a new battery, but ever since, the light hasn't been working right. It'll just stay on the whole time regardless of how long or often or when I puch the button. Is it fired, or is there some sort of reset for it? TIA
