"The year matters" = sorry Jon B, I just had to do it..
What means more to you, the side pipes or power windows?
400 hp or 450???
Has the red 98 been taken care of???
I kinda like the side pipes myself as well as the original rims..

if you are married why don't you ask your wife, i am sure that she would be able to help you make a decision. or possibly you could ask your parents. i have always found that when i have a tough decision to make i will send in $ 50.00 to the PTL CLUB and they will pray for me to make the right decision.

'98! Is it a '98 roadster? If so, what are you waiting for...check the VIN, and then do it! You can always add the sidepipes (not easy, but can be done)...you're gaining 50 HP and a warranty!

If it's a Coupe, then you've got to ask yourself if you can live without the open air feeling...if you can..then it's a no brainer (just my humble opinion).

...and I hear it was not as represented...milage had another "0"...i.e. 50,000 range, NOT 5000 range ! and it looked "rough"...not surprising as folks on Board noted.
