Hi all, I am looking in to trading my 94 RT/10+Cash for a 2003 Paxton Viper. The only downside it has a Whopping 100,000 KM. The owner had the SC installed by the dealer at time of purchase of the car. What should I look for? What to check and how? Is there any way to determine if the engine and the SC are still OK, or it’s a lost cause at 100,000km? Just do not want to drive to another city for nothing. I had never seen a Gen III, with that much mileage. What would be the reasonable price for it?
Thanks in advance.

This is what I am debating about. How much should I pay for a 2003, 100,000km Paxton Viper. I feel that my car should be about $30K+ Some Cash. Not sure how much, but what do you think would make a good deal for me hands down?

im not sure what the KM/mile ratio is....can you help on this ?

i doubt you could get 30k for a 94 unfortunately.

but id rather have a s/c's SRT than a 94rt

He is talking Canadian here. So the 03' car has about 65,000 miles with a Paxton. You have an 94' RT/10. Your 94' in Canada is probably still worth $30k cdn, or about $25k usd. His car is worth about $45k usd or about $53k cdn.

So trade with your car should be:

* your car plus $20k to $25k cdn or thereabouts :)

Hope that helps in anyway.

Your other questions on the blower app condition, are hard to answer without seeing the car. If the 03' has stock Paxton pulleys, etc. and drives fine, I don't see why it would not hold up fine. Weren't 03 cars delivered with a bigger powertrain warranty or something?

They have a 7 year 70,000 mile warranty. But with all the power added with the Paxton, it will take the right dealer for the warranty to be much good for powertrain issues....

Thank you all for the input. Its a lot of money, I mean $45-$55K for a 100,000 km car. And I probably wont be able to unload mine for more than $30K, with the winter around the corner. What to do? What to do? Can’t sleep. Must go for a midnight ride in my Viper.
