I noticed Vette pilot and SCCA National Champ, John Heinricy ran a 1:37.797(new T1 track record) at Mid-Ohio last weekend so I guess he's back in for the Runoffs. It appears we will finally get the battle that Mother Nature took away last year. September 21st Archer will bring it home for Dodge!

Hi Morgan,

I'm just curious - how close are the ViperDays GT-2 and the SCCA T-1 classes? You probably know that Bobby ran a 1:36.237 at Mid-Ohio this year - more than a second and a half better than Heinrichy.

Hey Sonny,
I can't speak for Archer's car, but on mine the 55mm restrictors strip off @12-14hp and 20-22lbs of torque. There are a few other "things" legal in GT2 that are not in T1. If it happens, this will be a great battle to watch.

Are you sure about the 9/14 date? I thought the T1 race was on 9/21. Glad to see it's on Saturday this year, instead of Friday.

Bobby (and Deborah) ran without the T1 inlet restrictors at Viper Days, but Bobby thinks he can beat his pole time of 1:37:5 from last year's Run-Offs. Somehow I knew Heinricy would be back...

You're right - it's going to be a great battle...

Bookies? Well I'm not touching that one... I'd say contact between Scotty White and Freddy Baker is a lock though!
