My contribution. Banners and such aren't up yet, but easy enough to get the basic picture.

Yay! Just got my Viper RT/10 banner...nice, heavy weight red vinyl, black lettering. Now, just have to find the place on the wall to put it up and figure out where the posters will go...all on the same wall!

This is not mine, but I am thinking of doing same thing...installing a few track lights.

Here is mine. I try to keep it nice, but this is a working garage. Just like the "oil change day" I hosted a couple weeks back, we are out here nearly every weekend working on someones car, or just hanging out.

like it, what type of space is up top?

The area that looks like a second story is the space that the lifts go into when up. It provides a cathedral ceiling and I can put just about anything including my Hummer all the way up.

i like you Dart Steve. whats in it? details please.

It is a '68 HEMI Dart. A stroked 5.7 now pushing (aprox) 600hp. It is actually for sale here in the classifieds and on that auction site. Dodge : Dart | eBay

Thanks!

Here it is at the track:

Making progress on my garage redo, three of four walls redone with pure white paint and white wire shelves. Last wall is actually foundation wall, so still working on it...have one small area where water seeps in (can see in pic #2).

Put up Viper RT/10 banner and framed posters and, as some other garages have, painted the door jam red and door is now white. Added VCA sticker (8"), but (as my wife says) it looks enemic!

Found a "before" picture of the right side of the garage. While the finished product is nothing special, compared to the before, I think its a nice improvement!:D

Must be one of the few that does not have a garage. Plenty big houses in the neighborhood and about half don't have closed in garages. I also share the space with other local residents... quack.

My dragcar stays 100 miles away at the speed shop. That's an impressive garage (speed shop) if you are into tools and such.

Path, not sure who's garage you are referring to with the "tools" comment.

I was down in Alexandria, VA recently and the houses, while very expensive, don't seem to have garages. Many of the houses are very old and didn't build garages.

Referring to speed shop.

Most homes in this area were built in the last 10-15 years. Not sure why so many do not have garages. Some have covered bays for 4 or more cars. There is a brand new house next to mine and he has garage doors while the back of the garage is fully open (unbricked).

Driveway blacktopped finally, taping next week than on to paint.
Can't do any shelving or decorative ideas till painted.

Still undecided on floor, weighing RaceDeck vs. Epoxy vs. Polishing.

Hey all,
Just thought I would share the end result of my recent garage remodel. Im happy with how it turned out, just wish the ceiling was higher to get a lift in there. Thanks for looking!

If I didn't have so much of a problem posting pics on this forum, I'd post my garage pics also ...

Didn't there used to be a media gallery link on here to link a pic from My Photos ?

upload your pic to imageshack.us, copy the "direct link" and push the insert image button on this site, paste the direct link and your done.

@all blue Viper, looks awesome, nice place to work on the car.:2tu:

I was kinda wondering the same thing about their used to be a way to link a pic from My Photos...even though I currently don't have any lol, I used too.. somehow the admins must have deleted them since I never did? Anyway, just save whatever files you wanna post to your desktop and when you create a post, look under Attach Files and click the tab that says Manage Attachments and you can upload up to 5 images. Quick and easy :2tu:

It's easier to upload photos to your gallery here. After it's uploaded into your gallery, right click on the photo and copy the url.

Then you post the pic here by typing the (below) with no spaces.

[ img ]paste your url here[ /img ]

It's easier than that now...

-Go to your "gallery".
-Rightclick and copy your full size photo. (Not the thumbnail photo)
-Then paste it in the thread you are writing.

It's that easy...
