How's it going? This past year the driver’s, side sill on my GTS produced a corrosion spot on the top close to the front (around the car’s computer area). It bubbled up the paint and now the paint chipped off in that area. I now have a white spot on the top of my side sill. From what I’ve heard, the correct way to fix it is to cut that area out and put in a new piece of aluminum then sand it, prime it and paint it. I am in NW Indiana about 30 minutes south of Chicago. For you IL members, do any of you know of a place that knows what they are doing, can (or preferably) has done this before, and does really good work? I want someplace that knows what they are doing. I don’t want it to look like I tried to repair it or not to last. The side sills are off of the car so I can drive it to a repair shop to have it repaired and repainted.
