There was a huge number of no-shows I tell ya the stash that Robert still had was quite big Still it was nice to put names to faces and exchange a few gifts that will hopefully be liked by their receivers.

Kind of bummed that there are such strict liquids regulations at Schiphol airport or I would have brought a case of locally brewed beer, now I was just too afraid that they would see me as trouble and do an interview making me miss my transfer flight.

Now that you mention it I did have a good laugh with the scanner guys at Schiphol but that was just the carry-on desk.. and there was this HOT girl at one of the check-in desks (she looked a lot like Penelope Cruz) which unfortunately was not the one I needed to go to, given more time I might have actually had a chance with her

Yes, this was an issue as it was not built into the schedule anywhere! I had a hell of a time finding dates and times that would not interfere with the VOI schedule! I will ensure that next round it is planned in advance and is also on the schedule cards!
