Driving his Nascar orange 99 Pontiac Our VCA
member Dave Golder won the unlimited division
with an avg speed of 198.9988 and a trap speed of
225 mph!! This guy has industrial size huevos!!
Car went airborne couple of times....once he came down
with 2 wheels off the pavement! the other time he said the car was pointed towards 3 course workers before he recovered!at speeds over 180 there were several rough spots!
The seven Vipers best we could achieve was a fourth in the 150
class by steve waldman avg 150.0384. In that class of 23 cars the top ten were within .1 of a mile of the 150 target!
I had my own target of 155 (that I told everyone except the
officals)I made 155.6989.that gave me a 18th place in the 150 class.

Thanks Wayne. It was one wild ride for sure. I cannot believe how bad the road got over the winter. Frost on the road is the culprit. Not much they can do. No more unlimited run's on that highway for me unless they shorten the road to the first 60 miles or so that are in good shape. Yesterday was the closest I ever came to death.....and I did not enjoy it. Congrat's on your trophy. BTW we hit 233.7 on the GPS! A new top speed for me. I was going to shoot for 240 but got way to scary.

Leave the "stylin" to Wayne.

You should have let the hookers go for a ride and maybe you would have won the "hookers choice" award.
