nipped down to Silverstone today with a few other club members, to watch a members CC run. A busy track with lots of lovely different marques including a Porsche GT and Enzo give it some stick, there seemed to be quite a few race teams there as well

heres the pics

SWEET pics! Thats the one of the nicest CC's I've seen (next to JH's). What wheels are on the CC? I see the Viper 6-lug bolt pattern, so Im assuming they'll fit on a street Viper? Those wheels are very nice.

i wish it was my car Juli ! its one of our club members he's had it since january

the wheels are BBS, i guess a set would fit a stock viper,
but these have been converted to the quick release single nut

The wheels are 18" one piece magnesium BBS, they are light as a feather, but magnesium is very prone to corrosion should the paint get a chipped (or wasted if they get dinged/curbed!). The stud pattern will fit any year Viper, but on SRT10 the rear won't clear the park brake, and the offset is different anyway for a CC...so on a road car they'd stick out about 2" all around (and look a bit silly)! :omg:
It's an awesome car they're on; I'm very lucky to have the job of looking after / running the "Fangs", 'tough' job too...having to test drive on track...been making a lot of suspension changes and trying out tyres, so wheels have been on-off a fair bit! The car is just too easy to set up over a road car, with the camber shim kit doing away with the cam bolts. :woot:Anyway...back to the garage...

That is definetly one of the nicest Competition Coupes I have ever seen . Thanks for sharing the pictures. I really like the one with the Viper and the Enzo Side by Side. I like the Enzo's but I think the Vipers just look a lot better and it really shows it in the picture. In my own opinion.

Hi Dean, yeah those allignment plates are so nice, and make it easy to try and adjust settings, that I'm going to change my GTS to use them. The bolts are different diameter, but I'm thinking of machining parts and machining the arms to take spherical bearings anyway.

Tyler, the Viper sounded way better than the Enzo too! The V10 Carrera GT sounded pretty good on full chat, it was being driven to the max by Mike Wilds a former F1 star!
