Please correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Sirius Radio an option on the coupe or did I misread something?

If it is...then why does the B/W coupe not have it and is it going to be a "pain" to put it in after market?

It is not difficult to add satellite radio to any SRT-10, coupe or convertible. The radio has an auxiliary input into which the satellite radio receiver connects. I replaced my head unit with a standard Chrysler RB1 navigation unit and added XM radio. However, before I did that, we added the XM unit and connected it to the stock radio. It worked fine. The XM unit is a Terk XM Direct XM-RVR-D-001, available online for around $200. That includes the antenna, which we placed in the front center of the dash. The installation is really simple for anyone who's ever done that kind of work.

I will be getting an SRT-10 convertible shortly with the stock 6-disc changer stereo. Are you saying this stereo has an auxiliary input jack that is readily accessible from the front of the head unit? I would love otbe able to plug in my iPod. Thanks for any info regarding how to do this without having to purchase additional hardware.

Unfortunately, the auxiliary input is on the rear of the unit. I don't know much about the iPod, but there have been several threads on this forum about connecting one. Sorry I couldn't help on that.

If it would be offered as a factory option, I would think it would have to be Sirius, since that is who DC has selected as their satellite radio supplier. If you go your own route with an aux input, then it is up to you. I have heard about people modding factory head units to add an aux input. Apparently it can to done relatively easily.

It has been listed as a future option, but at the present it is not available. Current order data allows for one additional option ( stripes ), but there will be other items coming.

Ipods simply rule. Just buy a cable from Circuit city or so that is long enough to go from truck to front. You'll NEVER have to buy CD's again. Your whole collection will fit on 1 or 2 gigs, etc... Car to car to car...
It's the best thing since CD's...
