Yes Ben, my mistake, but that tire is much smaller in diameter, and is not really wide enough to go on a 13 inch rim. Drag radials do not operate well at all on a rim that is actually wider than the tire as the oem setup is, but this is ok for the Pilot, as they are a very different tire design. This will affect the footprint of the tire. A twelve in rim would be best for optimal performance when running a 345 drag radial. My setup is at the max rim width of 11 inches for the 305 tire. It will work but it's really a bit to much rim for the tire. 40 mm wider tire and 50 mm wider rim, thats pushing it. This tire is two full inches smaller in diameter than my setup, and one full inch smaller than the oem setup. Given the huge wheel well in the SRT, I think it looks way off, even if you lower the car, not to mention the wheel to tire size imbalance. It's bad enough loosing one inch of rim size, but two inches of tire is way to much IMO. The Nitto size is a 305/45/18 With an aspect ratio of,"45" this gives the tire its great size, and as many of you know a tire with a sidewall difference of this much will hook up far better than one such as the low pro BFG. The BFG is a very good tire, but much to small. I really wish they would make one larger. I've heard they are among the best in drag radials. I think that size is catering to the Vette community, as it's about the only car that will accept it other than the Viper. Take notice of the oem pic. again and imagine the tire diameter being one full inch smaller, and two inches from the Nittos. You do loose a bit of the steam roller look, but it's really not noticable, and only on the inside.
