Just ordered a set of the tapestry mats from Jon B. (aka "Mr Service") and wondered what the consensus is on how to treat the mats, ie Scotchguard, or other protector and how often??I have a number of kids and they and their friends ask for rides often with messy shoes, so I want to do what is best to protect these mats. Thanks

Arent the mats to protect the floor? I suppose you could get some other mats to protect your viper mats but then what would you use to protect those mats?

Actually I have similiar floor mats and I scotchguard them before the rainy season.(just make sure to let them dry before you put them back in your car. )

"Dont Call Em Mats" They are CARPETS !

SnakeOyl Assures me that their tapestry CARPETS are pre-Scotchguarded by the manufacturer. The process is deep, with a much better treatment than a spray can would ever achieve.

And, we have had one instance where a customer used a Scotchguard FABRIC protector that bled when spreayed atop the impregnated CARPET protector.

{TB If my service was great, Id have told ya thatearlier. SORRY!)
