Looking at buying a new Viper TA. Looks like I can add the TA 1.0 package, but I still dont get the TA decals on the side?

I REALLY want an ACR but don't want to literal race car interior or rear wing. I do love the RED ACR logo and the vented fenders on the ACR extreme.

I just love the Black Viper with the exterior Carbon pieces (spoiler/splitter). I've only seen it on TA cars in the past but it looks like I can get the TA 1.0 package, sidewinder wheels and still get the real premium GTS laguna interior?

Also Im 6'2 so I am going to order the snake oyl 2" lowering seat kit, and I just want to confirm that I can use that kit on the premium GTS laguna interior package?

Also after I place my order any ideas on turnaround time? What is the difference between a 2014 TA and a 2016 Viper that I order with the TA 1.0 package?

thanks!!!!!

also, please tell me the Viper will continue production at a different production plant in the future?!?!

Renegade, in 2014 the TA'S came in three colors TA Orange clear coat, Viper white clear coat and Venom black clearcoat. They were also done in limited production numbers
There were only 33 each done in back and white nd a total of 93 in orange. I don't believe you can get GTS interior on an ordered TA but tat would be a great question for Mr Bill Pemberton.
He is the man when it comes to ordering. Can't help with the seat lowering kit. I know nothing about it. :)

Thank you. maybe Ill just order an ACR Extreme.

Perhaps the better solution for me is to just order the ACR extreme and remove the giant wing and splitter for street use, and replace it with the carbon aero package? To be honest I love everything about the ACR Extreme aside from the wing, mostly because mine will be street driven. I get it's purpose for track use, but I think for street driving the carbon rear wing looks 100x better.

On the one of one program , click the TA 2.0 group box ( can be had in any color/stripe configuration) . That will give you the aero package.

This is what I plan on doing

The GROUP option is not the full TA PACKAGE option. I guess it depends if you want to say you have a TA or not.

GTC TA or SRT TA still will get a TA number. There is alot of TA info out there if your google-fu is strong.

Viper is done, but you can do most of what you want on a One of One, though I would suggest some items to go with for the TA look , along with a GTS interior. Have done quite a few like this and will definitely state that others feel the same as you -- want a somewhat **** look, but not as extreme as the ACR.

Ok thank you.

So SRT is not producing T/As anymore, as it appears. Just the TA package on the 1 of 1 program, which isn't a genuine TA model. Perhaps I should find a low-mileage TA in Black then (a real TA). But to be honest, lately I have been entertaining the thought of going ACR Extreme, and just running the TA Carbon rear wing for street use (yes, replace the massive ACR wing with the carbon TA wing). That combo would look amazing, in my opinion.

Few questions, please:

1.) If I use 1 of 1 customizer, and add the ACR Extreme package, is that the same as getting a real ACR Viper? Or is the ACR Viper a different model with a unique VIN, etc? In other words, how can you tell the difference between a 1 of 1 customized Viper with the ACR package, compared to a real ACR Viper, or is there not a difference?

2.) Also, do you have reason to believe that SRT/Dodge may restart Viper production at a different assembly plant? Or do you think we may see a year or two hiatus and a new Gen6 Viper make it's debut?

I bought a slightly used TA. I have been very surprised on how well the TA rides on the street and the interior comfort. I actually felt the leather seats don't breathe as well as the TA seats. They feel very nice and keep you nicely tucked in around corners. I'd audio is important, for $500 you can upgrade the TA stereo to the 18 speaker system found in the GTS. There is no doubt the GTS interior is nicer, but the TA makes you feel very special.

Thanks. Using the 1 of 1 customizer, if I add the TA 1.0 package and the sidewinder wheels, is that almost the same as the real TA cars? Or will a TA always be a TA? I wonder somebody can tell the difference between a 1 of 1 with a TA look, compared to the real TA. Or even a 1 of 1 Viper with the ACR Package, compared to a real ACR. Is there a difference?

I believe it is nearly the same except for the fact that you don't have it numbered. Not sure the orange stitching on the interior is in the 1.0 package either. It won't be a "real" TA if that makes any difference to you. Can someone else chime in on any differences between a production TA vs adding the package? In terms of looks, you could make a base SRT look like a TA by adding just the aero and sidewinder wheels

Please take this in the spirit intended. One can badge up a current year model to be a TA, however, there will be people like me that know it is not a 2014 TA. Some people in the Viper Community will know it was re badged, everyone else won't have a clue

Anyone who is looking for a TA will likely know they are numbered. Evey TA vin ends in the production number it was. I think it would be pretty obvious if it was a real TA or a fake.

Yes, you would know that, you are in the community. Take it to a non MOPAR car show, no one would have a clue, except the other two or three Viper drivers at the event

But the 1 of 1 Vipers don't have the 'ACR' or 'TA' badging on the front fender, do they?

Also I wonder if the 1 of 1 program deletes all the interior materials for the ACR like on a real ACR (sound deadening removed, etc)

Badging is obtainable and stitching color can be changed

I understand that, Im just curious if you can build the car to identical specs as the TA or ACR, and the only way to tell is just the VIN...

...or does the 1 of 1 program not offer a full-spec TA or ACR 'clone', if you will - just close to one

Based on what Bill said, you can get close, no chance at a identical TA

I said if someone is looking to buy one, not looking at one at a car show. 99% of people that are looking to buy a TA will google it and quickly learn they are a limited production.

roger that

Disclaimer: you would be surprised what I have read in sales ads and would bet a lot of potential buyers are unaware of the facts.

Have a great day... out

Are you only interested in the TA1.0, because you can order a TA2.0 and have your very own real TA, vin number, numbered dash and badging.

I am 6'5 and have a GTS I fit fine. You don't need the lowering kit. Also being tall the seat being down even lower would really make it hard to get in and out of.

How the hell do you fit fine??? The previous owner I bought my TA from was 6'2'' and he couldn't even see street lights without fully ducking! lol

You can easily get a 2014 original, low mileage limited edition Viper TA. Just buy one from a current owner.

I didn't say it was comfortable! LOL! Getting in and out is torture. If you angle the seat right you can see out the windshield. I do find myself ducking to look out sometimes.I am 6'5 285lbs former NFL linebacker and I fit. I have not driven for much more than a hour but for a hour its doable.

Nice. I was a Defensive End at APU. Had a good Pro Day but didn't really get to live the dream.

We had a 6'8 owner in here several months back. He said he loved the car so much he suffered through it.
