So many questions......can\'t sleep?

As you know from my previous post I will be picking up my new Viper on Friday and I have so many questions about car. I guess I'm anxious since I have not been able to sleep.

How should I be driving the car during the break in period?
Does anyone have the clear bra installed on the car and how do you find it?

Keep it under 4k during break in for the first 500 miles. Others say drive it like you stole it! Get a 3m clear bra installed if your scared about rock chips. Use the search button theirs a good thread about that out there!

Motors are super tight today, and as SRTRicky stated , keep the car under 4,000 rpms for the first 500 miles. Basically drive it normal, no full throttle romps or nailing of the brakes. At the 500 mark, get the oil changed and after that drive it and put the pedal to the metal ( within reason ,of course ). If you have the urge to hammer it, after 500 miles, my suggestion is find a quiet , straight road, put it in second gear and at around 85 km per hour, with both hands on the wheel , mash that throttle. Don't speed shift to third , just do a nice smooth shift and squeeze the gas quickly. The problem many drivers have when the first get a Snake, is they drive it sensibly for the first 500 miles and then they nail it in first gear. After the dance of a thousand fingers around the steering wheel they gain a modicum of control, speedshift to second and do the 360 donut dance , which can end them up in a ditch,etc. Respect your beauty and she will repay with years of loving affection, but take your time and unleash those 500 horses as you get to know her.

I have a clearbra on my car. It's a good investment.

I have the 3M clearbra, spent dearly for it and it covers all of the impact areas on the entire car.
