Softtop Adjustment or Weatherstrip

My soft top raises up across the top (in the front) when I drive the car.

Should I adjust the nuts on the pins to pull it down snug?

Should I consider replaceing the weatherstrip?

Should I live with it?

Get the re-designed 96 soft top. Big difference. If not that at least get the adjustable hold-down levers.

Jeff I'm not sure if Doug Levin Motorsports still repairs soft tops. I had the same problem when I had my R/T. The side rails got warped and then the front of the top lifts up. I had DLM repair mine but that was a while back.

When you soft top starts lifting HOW FAST are you going??!

My soft top starts lifting around 80!! They say it will come off at over a hundred! I don't want to prove that!

Chuck- Soft top lifts up at 25mph.

I always had the same problem. Go to Ace, Home Depot, ect. I buy weatherstripping, run it along the front edge factory rubber. This will stop the lift. Closed cell weatherstripping, black. It will be good for months before it has to be replaced. $2.75 done!
