Rarely post but have read this forum everyday for the past couple years. Thaught I would post the selling price of my viper so others can get a sense of what the resale market is like for buyers/sellers. 2003 viper two owner car 18,000 miles, one minor accident. The usual bolt on mods like corsa, 3.55 gears, acr rims. Overall a really clean nice car. Placed it on consignment with a dealer. He sold it for $42,500 and I got $40,500. Took about 3 weeks. THANK YOU all, I rarely posted but enjoyed reading the forum.

Stop buying into the hype guys. These are extremely rare and powerful cars.

People "here" told me the same crap about 33k ect for my 03. I had a buyer at 39k a week later. That was too low and I didnt sell.

03s sell for 37-43 all over the country. Sometimes 45-47k for the sub 5k milers

that actually is a great price.

Buyers will use everything they can to their advantage to drive a price lower. Since the car was in a minor accident KBB tells a buyer that puts the car automatically in "fair" condition. The fact that you still got that much is refreshing.

Excellent point...so why would Viper OWNERS say things like "wow surprised you got that much".... we should be saying...damn you should have held out for MORE!!! We constantly drive our own values down with our comments!???

I agree. I wouldn't sell my 03 for that. Sure it is winter but spring isn't far behind. Till the new car comes out, there aren't more Vipers out there!

I think Id move for 41k... Thats it though. Way I figure it if someone can get 40k for an mass produced 06 z06 vette then I sure as hell can get 41k for a 03 viper

Theres only 9,900 gen3 and 4 vipers in the world. Probally more like 9,000 when you count how many have been permanently wrecked. Why anyone would just give away such a rae car is beyond me. Lambo hit their 10,000th gallardo last year. That should tell you how rare a srt is
