A lot of time, and development budget was spent establishing the new suppliers and supply chain for the Gen V.
From Ferrari, the team learned to utilize suppliers that were able to make a profit on small supply runs. And the team learned how to make a profit on small production runs. Apparently this means using more manual labor and less automation - i.e. - less capital investment.
Now that that infrastructure is in place, more of the budget should be available to do new and wonderful things!
I look to quick responses and many nich products from the team from here on out.
