I just finished installing one side of the race harnesses, and I found that the shoulder straps are too long, because they bolt in right behind the seat. this leaves some slack in the shoulders and I can't tighten them anymore. How do I get rid of this? Do I need to get some sewing place to physically cut the belts and re-sew them? This is reallllly frustrating!

Thanks

Nico

I went thru the same f ing thing. Had to return them. call Bill Ma

visionsofspeed.net I refused to spend $400-500 per side on belts (team tech) He hooked me up with a different brand for 1/2 the cost. And they are hot.

just found the pic

I installed ACR 5 point harnesses. I had know problem and I like the look of the black with white ACR on the belts. I'm a club racer though and I bought them used.

Sorry, I didn't realize I was still at the Gen III forum. I have a GTS and I'm not sure ACR belts would work in SRT's.

Hmm, well a friend told me of someone here who makes custom seatbelts so I'm gonna see if he can shorten them two feet each. Ill update you on if it works cause I really want to use these damn belts.

Viper D - I guess if this doesn't work I'll give him a call. Thanks bud
