Our North Texas region celebrated Christmas in fine style today, at a party hosted by Danny and Debra Baum. Mother nature cooperated with a terrific 70 degree day. We were able to squeeze 35 Vipers around the circular driveway of Danny's beautiful home. Add all the other Dodge vehicles parked on the street belonging to those who could not bring their snakes, along with several more trailered Vipers who came directly from a race day at Texas Motor Speedway, and it literally brought traffic to a standstill for the afternoon in front of the house. What a sight! We'll post pictures soon. Merry Christmas to everyone!

Like I said yesterday. Maybe we can have a Texas Christmas party and all the clubs can come if one of the presidents would start checking with all the other presidents of the clubs and work it all out for next year and just have one hell of a party. It might even make that next quarterly publication....Smile

Let's have it at prashant's house. I am sure he would volunteer. He has a nice place on the lake. Come on Prashant, your an acting president now. Can you imagine the attraction. We can even have a theme. If if there's beer, you know Bill Pemberton might want to come... he he he

Actually, I think the idea of a Lone Star SUPER Party next Christmas is a great idea..... at least in theory. Could you imagine 30 or 40 cars rolling north out of the Houston area on a Saturday morning, and another 30-40 coming south out of Dallas/Ft. Worth...... all headed for one big Saturday night bash in Austin or San Antonio?? We could stay over at a hotel and head back Sunday morning?

However, the practicality of this, taking almost all of the weekend, might be tough for everyone to carve out and set aside during the holidays. Too much other Christmas stuff and other parties going on. Tell you what..... let's all see if we can get our members on board with the idea this summer, set aside a weekend, maybe as EARLY in December as possible, and decide if it can be done.

King is absoulutely right. WOW!!! This sure was a sight to see!! What a great sight, and it did bring traffic to a halt. Thanks to all who made the past year in the NT VCA such a wonderful success. I'm already looking forward to all the fun and activities for 2001 (oh, BTW congrats to King on becoming the NT VCA president for 2001)
